  • In this area of the gardens, trees and shrub create a series of cool, tranquil spaces. There is an excellent use of space and a number of small discrete gardens relate to Luffman's concept of separate landscape pictures. The views provided are focused and entice the observer to see what is beyond the beds and around the corner. There is a great diversity of plants, and a wonderful combination of colour, form, texture and light.
